Cages for Children

«American Academy of Pediatrics president Dr. Colleen Kraft on family separations at the border: “These children need their parents… This does amount to child abuse.” «

That is the situation in the Mexican-American border. It’s all over the news.

We have multiple reasons to criticise Mr. Trump and his exploits, but that is American politics and we have plenty on our plate to patronize anyone. But separating children from their families and using that threat to act upon the migration situation in the Mexican-American border, goes beyond the respect for the most elementary human rights.

We trust this situation will be reversed immediately.

This is the AAP Statement Opposing Separation of Children and Parents at the Border: https://www.aap.org/en-us/about-the-aap/aap-press-room/Pages/StatementOpposingSeparationofChildrenandParents.aspx
